2019 School Specific Training Programme (Tier I)

Designed by INTED, the Komenda SHTS School Specific Programme was led by INTED Master Fellow, upon invitation by Fellow Mr. Attram Yirenkyi who had been promoted to head the school from Assistant Head position at Odoben SHS.  Teachers received training in Teaching Practice modules, while Heads received training in both Teaching Practice and Instructional Leadership modules. Each training day was dedicated to one module, where heads received new strategies to support their teaching colleagues, while teachers held strategy practice sessions in Design Studios. 

 

The three modules covered were:

*  Lesson Design and Factors Affecting Student Learning

*  Using Prior Knowledge

*   Active Student Engagement

 

Results:  A sample of the pictures taken during this training is filed with the report and online.  All 84 participants who completed the training received certificates.
