Phyllis is a 2012 Master Fellow of INTED.  She is currently the Headmistress of Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School.  An examiner in English and Team Leader for the West African Examination Council, Phyllis taught English Language and Literature at Mfantsipim School from 1990 to 2014, where she rose through the ranks to become Assistant Head (Domestic) from 2008. 


In August 2014, she was promoted to become first female Head of Diaso S. H. S, where she served for a year. She was then transferred to Odoben S. H. S where she also served for three years. Phyllis holds a bachelor's degree in English, a Diploma in Education and a Masters in Educational Administration from the Institute of Educational and Public Administration, all from University of Cape Coast.  Phyllis Arthur-Simpson is also a leading member of the LIONS Clubs International Association.
