2016 School Specific Programme (Tier I)

The Swedru School Specific Programme, was designed by INTED and the training led by 4 INTED Master Fellows that benefited from the 2016 SDF-funded Master Fellow Programmes.  Teachers received training in Teaching Practice modules, and Heads also received training in both Teaching Practice and Instructional Leadership modules.  Each training day was dedicated to one module, where leaders received new strategies to support teaching colleagues, while teachers held strategy practice sessions in Design Studios.

 

The two modules covered were:

*  Lesson Design and Factors Affecting Student Learning

*  Active Student Engagement

 

Results: 84 teachers from Swedru SHS were trained.  A sample of the pictures taken during this training is with the report and online.  All participants who completed the training received certificates.
