As part of efforts to inform and involve community members, INTED is proposing two town hall events for the benefit of the Central and Eastern regions which have been selected to host the pilot programme.
The first town hall will present an overview of the LGLP intervention, launch of programme materials, host schools and programme leaders, while the second will share programme outcomes, testimonials and early evaluation from selected participants and leaders.
The second will also include ceremonial distribution of programme completion certificates for participating schools, as well as plans to amplify the programme to impact other schools and communities throughout the country.
The targeted audience for the events are representative leaders of traditional, government, educational, civic and grassroots, local media, LGLP partners and other influential local leaders.
INTED will work with local district assembly and educational leaders to select and send invitations to these leaders a month before the proposed town halls.
