School Specific Programme (Tier I)

Dzorwulu Junior High School, Accra

19 Teachers and Heads

September 7 – 8, 2016

The programme for Dzorwulu Junior High School was designed by INTED as a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme and the training led by 2 INTED Master Fellows, all of whom participated in the 2016 INTED-SDF programmes.  As such, the programme was delivered free of charge to participants, and also offered us another unique insight into designing training programmes for Junior High Schools.  Teachers and heads received training in Teaching Practice modules in an interactive lecture format in the mornings and held afternoon strategy practice sessions in Design Studios.

*  The two modules covered were:

*  Lesson Design and Factors Affecting Student Learning

*  Active Student Engagement

Results: 19 teachers from Dzorwulu JHS were trained.  A sample of the pictures taken during this training will be shared with the report.  All participants who completed the training will receive certificates.
