INTED's Mission
Our mission is to build and support local capacity to provide affordable, high impact, quality professional development to address instruction, leadership and student performance gaps in West Africa, starting with Ghana.
INTED's Vision
Our vision is to be a globally recognized impactful oasis for pre-tertiary teachers and school leaders - a professional development institute that works to measurably improve student achievement by transforming the quality of teaching and leadership.
INTED’s Values
We believe enduring desire is a critical element of success in any endeavour – it is the fuel that drives our endeavours. We seek to work with school leaders, teachers, staff, and volunteers who have genuine passion for our work – those that have an honest and authentic interest in improving student achievement.
We seek to work with professionals who recognize their own shortcomings and are appreciative of opportunities to continue to improve. We look for teachers and leaders who respect and learn from the strengths, abilities and experiences of others.
We believe in a concerted and collective attitude – we will work with schools as a unit, engaging only when its leaders (heads and assistant heads) and teachers are ready to create and work in a collaborative and supportive environment. We believe in working together with empathic understanding for team members regardless of background.
Our admin and master fellow teams are in constant search for improvement; we set a high standard of achievement for our teaching professionals in their work with students, and we strive to show the way.
